Man, I had another great hunt yesterday afternoon and the second time was the charm! Another encounter with the big 9pt I missed shooting about 10 days ago when I ran out of light. Same thing almost happened again. He came in just before dark just like the first time. I knew I was basically out of camera light but when he gave me a quartering angle I said I wasn’t going to let this opportunity pass because I could still see well enough to get a shot off. What a pig, 207 lbs! The video isn’t great but I do have it. It’ll be up in a few days. Check it out. Can’t believe I’ve already taken two quality bucks by mid September. Later…
