Hunted yesterday in a bean field. Stopped counting at 34 does and fawns. Finally had two bucks come out right at dark but they were a 150 yds away. One looked like a decent 8 pt, the other was smaller. Had a buddy from Union hunting with me in the adjacent field, only about 300 yds away and he saw one doe early. Funny how that happens. Well, we decided to try hunting the woods this morning but the deer just weren’t moving. Neither of us saw a deer but my buddy did see the bear just as I was coming to pick him up about 9:00. Bad moon right now. Later…
