Well, things are winding down for the 2012 season. I’m helping my friend , Boodie Walters, do a little herd management over at his place on black river. We hung a bow stand about ten days ago and I took a “cow” yesterday morning. Has to be the biggest doe I’ve ever killed. Will have the video of the hunt up in couple of days. Morning hunts have definitely been the best lately. I saw two bucks and six does this morning, along with a couple of coyotes. Did my best to draw on the varmints but was unsuccessful. They picked up on the slightest movement and turned on a dime! Hope to take a few more does before it’s all over. A buck would be a pleasant surprise. Later…
