Gobbler
This was one of those hunts that makes you feel like you really do know what you’re doing. Did not have a chance to video this one because I knew I would be hunting in a thick place with little opportunity to film. I got to within 100 yds of this gobbler on the roost. He was roosting off of a little field and I was set up in the woods. I knew that I had to be creative to keep him from flying down into the field. I performed some light tree yelps followed by a fly-down cackle and then hushed up. Two minutes later he pitched right down in from of me. Game over! Another 19 pounder.
