Man, I had a close call today with a shooter. Had a good buck come in with about 25 minutes of light left. As luck, bad luck, would have it I ran out of light without getting a decent shot opportunity. You can check it out in the video gallery. Later…

Great start to the 2015 season. Drilled the tall tine 8 pointer yesterday morning. Made a good shot on him and he went about 125 yds. Did not get the kill on video because I forgot to go back to this particular stand and put a camera arm on the tree. What a mindless thing to do!! You can check out the recovery however. That will never happen again. Anyway, the pressure’s off. Later…

Wow! Bow season opens in 3 days and I’m getting pretty pumped based on some great trail cam bucks. I finally got all my stands up and started putting some corn out about ten days ago. I’ve already got several really good bucks on camera, and all throughout the day. Of course, that will change as soon as the pressure ramps up.
